Reviews…

We don’t ask for much when reviewing.  But what you write does have to have meaning.  If you don’t have the time to put some effort into the review or your comments, then the readers won’t get anything out of it.  Therefore, we’ve set a few things up, and we have a few guidelines.

First, you have to register.  Use a pseudonym if you want, but you have to register.

Second, we moderate the posts.  Hopefully all we’ll do is change the category after making sure the right elements are there.  But the reviews are moderated.

Finally, we require that you include:

  1. The obvious:  professor name, course title, quarter and year taken
  2. Rating (out of 5) for the professor
  3. Rating (out of 5) for the course
  4. Some kind of commentary supporting your ratings

That’s it.  We feel that sometimes the course might have a lower rating than the professor, because the course might not be that useful but the professor is someone one should take.  For instance.

Please note:  some of the reviews are being fed in from other blogs, where people have posted their personal reviews, using their personal styles.  We don’t impose any of our rules upon those reviews, so you might see a few anamalous ones.

Along with the copyright indication below, everything is copyright whomever wrote it.  If you want to stay anonymous then it’s still copyrighted via  Creative Commons.
